Glamping, adventure retreats and the Camino de Costa Rica

Chorro Ecolodge is a family-run glamping lodge on the Naranjo River, in the hills of Esquipulas, about 35 minutes from Manuel Antonio and Quepos. Camino de Costa Rica hikers spend their last night here before Stage 16, the final walk to the Pacific, and groups rent the whole place for adventure retreats. Guests come for the river and our private waterfall, stay for the quiet, and leave talking about Doña Luz's cooking.

Since 2006

Leo and Cara

Cara and Leo met on the Savegre River near Manuel Antonio in 2006. She was leading trips for an active travel company; he was running white-water rafting. They married in 2009. Their son Luka arrived two years later, and their daughter Kaia a few years after him.
